Calculation of the shift of a cross section point from position of rest through torsion and deflection
For various purposes e.g. for grinding of crowning (also referred to as longitudinal or tooth trace correction) on gearings it is important to know the amount by which a point of the shaft cross section shifts in a certain direction through elastic deformation. This program calculates the shift in a certain interval along the axis, prints out the data, and provides a graphic display of the deformation components. The data can be transferred into any CAD program via the graphic interfaces.
For gear configurations, in addition, the tooth trace deviation through deformation that is calculated is required for precise cylindrical gear calculations.
Load distribution along the tooth flank is displayed graphically with consideration of a defined crowning, and/or helix angle correction.
